Overview
The next step for a student as they work in CCRG is dependent on several things:
- The study path they are working in
- Their Initial Diagnostic score
- Their current study path score
CCRG English
When a student is working in one of the main study paths ("CCRG English Tier 1" or "CCRG English Tier 2": a study path without "Test" in the name), they need to reach a target score of 90. They then are ready to take the "Test A" attempt for this Tier.
If a student is working in a "Test" study path, they will need to complete the initial diagnostic, which is the Tier Test. After completing the diagnostic, the next step will be determined by their score.
This file allows you to select the student's study path and scores and it will tell you the next step:
CCRG English: Next Step Calculator
- If the student has an Initial Diagnostic score of at least 80: they have successfully passed the tier.
- If they are in Tier 1 they move on to Tier 2.
- If they are in Tier 2 they have completed the program.
- The student DOES NOT need to complete any additional Tier Test attempts.
- If the student has a score below 80 on the Initial Diagnostic they will work in this study path to reach the target score (90). Once the target score has been reached they are eligible to retake the next tier test.
- If they are in Tier 1 Test A, they move on to Tier 1 Test B
- If they are in Tier 1 Test B, they move on to Tier 1 Test C
- If they are in Tier 1 Test C, they move on to Tier 1 Test D
- If they are in Tier 1 Test D, they move on to Tier 1 Test E
- If they are in Tier 1 Test E, they are done working in CCRG and have not earned credit for Tier 1.
- If they are in Tier 2 Test A, they move on to Tier 2 Test B
- If they are in Tier 2 Test B, they are done working in CCRG and have not earned credit for Tier 2.
